It is indeed remarkable that, mā shā’ Allāh, in this village of approximately 3,000 people and 900 households, there is a madrasa where around 700 boys and girls are receiving an Islamic education. What makes it even more astonishing is that the institution has no significant or steady source of income.
Yet, the spirit of sacrifice and generosity shown by the people of this village is truly admirable. From each household, 2 rupees are contributed daily, and 15 rupees weekly to support the madrasa. Moreover, the fruits, vegetables, and rice grown in their farms and gardens are also regularly brought and donated to the institution. This is a unique and inspiring example of service to religion and community. May Allah accept it from them.
Upon witnessing this sincere and selfless spirit, we couldn’t help but remember the verse:
“Is there any reward for good other than good?” (Surah Ar-Rahman, 55:60)
Indeed, the best response to kindness is kindness in return.
And at that very moment, we made the decision to provide a borewell for the 900 households of this village, as a humble gesture of appreciation and support.
May Allah continue to use us and you in the service of His deen for as long as we live, and may He be pleased with all of us.
Āmīn, yā Rabb al-‘Ālamīn
