The stipend criteria for NBEMS: (DNB & NBEMS - Diploma courses) The above mentioned stipend is called minimum stipend. BUT, THE INSTITUTE HAS TO PAY THE STIPEND EXISTING IN GOVERNMENT MEDICAL COLLEGES OF THE RESPECTIVE STATE. So, if the stipend of state government is more than this prescribed stipend, then that amount of state government is to be followed. If not, then this basic stipend.
