*XENMENTOR Update* : Supreme Court Order in the NEET PG Single Shift case - Verbatim (as orally pronounced) IA has been filed by the respondent NBEMS seeking rescheduling of NEET PG 2025 on 3rd of Aug 2025 which according to this respondent is the earliest possible date given by its technology partner (TCS). A reference is made to various communications between the respondent No 1 and the TCS highlighting the preparative paraphernalia to be developed for conduct of examinations. Having gone through the papers annexed with the IA, we are satisfied that the prayer for extension of time to hold the examinations rescheduling to it to the 3rd of August is bona fide. Accordingly the time allowed by our order dated 30th May 2025 for only NEET PG 2025 examination is extended and the respondent No 1 is permitted to hold the examination on 3rd August 2025. Students will have to be given an opportunity to select new center options and 3) The SC bench was of the opinion that TCS with its many centers (probably over 60000) should be able to manage this even earlier. They even suggested why they cant be done in July 4) The ASG representing Union of India mentioned that they will come back the next day to see if they can prepone the dates 5) However the SC bench finally permitted the NBE to hold examinations on August 3rd 2025. No further extension will be granted 6) Add on info: There was a request on extending the Internship end date for eligibility (currently 31st July 2025) which was rejected.
