Health Cabinet Secretary Hon. Aden Duale appeared before the National Assembly Committee on Delegated Legislation to discuss the Social Health Insurance (Tariffs for Healthcare Services) Regulations, 2025. He outlined the services under the three key health funds—Primary Health Care Fund, Social Health Insurance Fund, and Emergency, Chronic and Critical Illnesses Fund. The CS also explained means testing for SHA registration, the Lipa SHA Pole Pole payment model, and the shift from monthly to annual contributions. He reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to transparency, good governance, and public participation. He was accompanied by PS Dr. Ouma Oluga, DG Dr. Patrick Amoth, and SHA CEO Dr. Mercy Mwangangi.
