Health CS Hon. Aden Duale launched the Health Facility Digitalization initiative in Garissa County, delivering 1,114 digital devices to improve service delivery and data management. The new Health Information Exchange system allows Kenyans to access their health records from anywhere. Digitization has led to the closure of 875 non-compliant facilities and removal of over 3 million fake NHIF records. The CS urged SHA registration, announced the training of 367 health workers (targeting 1,700), and confirmed the nationwide distribution of 74,000 digital devices. He emphasized that the Digital Health Superhighway will improve access and transparency in healthcare.
