Prior consulting experience in an audit or accounting firm is mandatory 2. Accurate recording of daily financial transactions in line with IFRS, from initial entries to final reporting. 3. Recording of all closing entries at month end, including bank reconciliations, fixed asset, prepaid, accruals & payroll schedules. 4. Ensuring completeness and accuracy of journal entries with appropriate supporting documents. 5. Assessing internal controls, performing risk assessments, and reviewing key risk areas. 6. Supporting the auditors with relevant information required to complete the audit. 7. Working in a computerized environment with proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). 8. ⁠ Experience in VAT return preparation and filing, as well as corporate tax compliance. *Desired Candidate Profile*: i. CA / ACCA / CPA / M Com qualified. ii. 4 to 5 years of experience in accounting including financial reporting iii. Knowledge of Accounting systems such as Xero, Quick Books, Zoho etc. & ability to work independently. iv. Experience in IFRS reporting. v. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & PowerPoint vi. Solid analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills. vii.
