Helen Roalakona has made history as Papua New Guinea’s first female Public Prosecutor following her appointment by the Judicial Legal Services Commission (JLSC).
Justice Minister and Attorney-General Pila Niningi confirmed the appointment last week after a JLSC meeting held in Tari, Hela. Roalakona, who hails from Central Province, was commended for her work on major legal cases, including the high-profile Paraka saga
