Daily Bible Reading. 6th June 2025. I Kings Chapters 19-20. II Corinthians Chapter 8. Use Proverbs 5 for prayers.
It is written in 2 Peter 3:3-8
"Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. [4] They will say, "What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created." [5] They deliberately forget that God made the heavens long ago by the word of his command, and he brought the earth out from the water and surrounded it with water. [6] Then he used the water to destroy the ancient world with a mighty flood. [7] And by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire. They are being kept for the day of judgment, when ungodly people will be destroyed. [8] But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day." I decree and declare that you will never be carried away with the affairs of this world in this season, but always remember that we are in the last days, never mock the truth, never follow your own desires. May you also ever await the coming of Jesus Christ as promised, never in doubt. May you always honour the word of God with your life, acknowledging that the Word of God is God, and that He made the heavens by the word of His command. May you delight much in meditation in the word and transform your word by it. Let the Lord separate your life from difficulties in this month of June, as He took the earth out of water. May the power that destroy your ancestors never have power to destroy you. May you and your loved ones be delivered from the judgement of fire that is coming upon the ungodly of this generation. May you receive the grace never to take every minute of your life for granted, but live it with an understanding that the rapture day is coming, all in Jesus name. Amen.
Good morning Saints and have a fulfilled Friday.
