Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese
Ingredients: (Serves 2–3)
4 slices thick-cut bread (sourdough or Italian work great)
4 tbsp butter, softened
2–3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
Pinch of salt
4–6 slices cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, provolone, or your favorites)
Directions:
Make garlic butter: In a small bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic, parsley, and a pinch of salt.
Butter bread: Spread garlic butter generously on one side of each bread slice.
Assemble: Place cheese slices between two pieces of bread (buttered sides facing out).
Grill: Heat a skillet over medium-low heat. Place sandwiches in skillet and cook ~3–4 mins per side, pressing slightly with a spatula, until bread is golden and crispy and cheese is melted.
Serve: Slice and serve hot — perfect with tomato soup or on its own!
