THE LAW OF FAITH AND FORGIVENESS
_Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone..._ Mark 11:25
Faith is necessary for answer to prayers.
Faith is the arrangement of the heart.
It is the focus of our expectation.
That is why forgiveness is required when we go to pray.
If my name is Joseph and I'm angry with my brothers because I'm in Egypt, then I'm saying that they are the reason I'm in Egypt. The Spirit of God says, "He sent a man ahead of them," that is, it was God that sent Joseph into Egypt.
If Joseph didn't forgive his brothers, then he would be saying, "God didn't send me; man sent me." He would have therefore confessed, "Man has control over my life."
When I'm angry with somebody that, "Oh, he didn't come to my aid when I needed him most," then I'm saying that my help comes from man, not from the Lord. My prayers would therefore have no faith undergirding it.
One reason why I must forgive is because I must remove myself from the hands of man and put myself in the hands of God. When I go to pray, I say, "I forgive all those who trespass against me." By doing that, I am removing the power they have over my life. I'm saying. "Only God can control my life." I'm deliberately, by my faith, taking myself out of the power of man and placing my life in the hands of the Almighty God.
When I grumble every time about the government, perpetually complaining about the so-called leaders, what I'm saying is that my help comes from man, it does not come from God.
If I'm always angry with my boss, what I'm saying is that my help comes from my boss; it does not come from God.
When I grumble day and night about my salary, what I'm saying is that my sustenance comes from man, not from God.
Every action you take is a sign of your faith and determines whether you will get answers to your prayers or not.
Selah!
