Shift Engineer 🇵🇰 We're seeking a Shift Engineer with a track record of over 6 years of exceptional expertise Hold a Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering Degree. If you're well-versed in the intricacies of “Co-gen/CCPP systems, including STGs, HP Boilers, WTP & BOP”, your expertise is our priority. Your Qualifications: ✔️ BSc. Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering ✔️ 6+ Years of Professional Experience. ✔️ Experience with Bagasse Based IPP will be given higher preference. ✔️ Reside conveniently in or near Sadiqabad. Experience: 1. Oversee 24/7 shift operations of the cogeneration power plant, ensuring optimal performance of HP boilers (bagasse-fired), STG, WTP & BOP. 2. Prepare daily performance reports (power generation, steam output, fuel consumption) 3. Lead plant startups, shutdowns, and load changes according to with coordination of NPCC. 4. Lead a team of operators, technicians, and auxiliaries during the shift 5. Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule and oversee regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs to prevent equipment failures and improve reliability. 6. Handling all types of emergencies such as black out, tripping turbine, etc. 7. Coordinate with maintenance teams and apply LOTO for planned and emergency maintenance. 8. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and grid regulations (e.g., NOx limits, load dispatch instructions). 9. Participate in emergency response, HAZOP reviews, and equipment performance audits. “Experience with Permit to Work (PTW) and LOTO Procedures of CCPP Plants with expertise in Steam Turbines, Solid Fuel HP Boilers & BOP will be given high priority”, as your insight into these specialized systems is a game-changer.
