Vyshyvanka Day in Ukraine is an international holiday designed to preserve ancient folk traditions. Its popularity is due to the idea of an embroidered shirt as a talisman, as well as the increased availability of information about regional embroidery traditions in Ukraine. This has led to ancient traditional embroidery elements being used not only in modern clothing, but also in decorative and applied art objects.
