After tightening scrutiny on political donations & HRA claims, the Income Tax Dept. has begun issuing bulk notices for non-disclosure of income from Virtual Digital Assets (VDA) across AYs. Taxpayers can use ITR-U to disclose such income & avoid penalties/litigation.
