Nigeria’s table tennis star, Quadri Aruna, has advanced to the Round of 16 at the 2025 ITTF World Championship after a stunning 4-2 victory over world number 13, Benedikt Duda. Aruna started strong, taking the first set 11-9. Duda hit back in the second, but Aruna remained composed, winning the third and later recovering from a rough fourth set. In a dramatic fifth set, Aruna came from 3-9 down to win 12-10, before sealing the match with an 11-9 finish in the sixth.
