An Air India flight from Phuket, Thailand to New Delhi was forced to make an emergency landing on Friday following a bomb threat, according to Thailand’s airports authority. The Airbus A320 had just taken off when the pilot contacted air traffic control to report a message indicating a possible bomb on board. The scare occurred just one day after another Air India disaster—a London-bound passenger jet crashed in Ahmedabad, India, killing at least 265 people both on board and on the ground. The Airports of Thailand confirmed the Phuket incident in a statement posted on its official Facebook page.
