A 40-year-old Bulawayo man has been arrested in connection with the US$46 000 Kwekwe vehicle robbery. Linas Tshuma was apprehended by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) in connection with the theft of US$46 000 from a vehicle which was parked in Kwekwe’s Central Business District. In a statement, National Police Spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi says during the arrest police recovered several items including a driller and a rivet gun believed to have been used during the robbery. While Tshuma is in custody, a manhunt is ongoing for his alleged accomplices Thethelani Ndlovu, Esau Mazarura, Bhekinkosi Tshuma, Mpiloenhle Ndlovu, Xolani Tshuma, Gugulethu Khumalo and Reason Moyo all from Bulawayo.
