The Digital PMKS Madani (GDPM) Grant is an initiative by the Malaysian government aimed at helping Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as well as small traders to digitize their business operations. This program offers a matching grant of up to 50% or a maximum of RM5,000.00 for eligible businesses. The initiative is run by Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) in collaboration with the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
In the 2025 Budget, the government has allocated RM50 million for the Digital Matching Grant through BSN. The goal is to accelerate the digital transformation of MSMEs, including local entrepreneurs and small traders.
To apply for this grant, MSMEs must meet several eligibility criteria, including:
• At least 60% ownership by Malaysian citizens.
• Registered with Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM), Local Authorities (PBT), or relevant agencies.
• In operation for at least six months.
