*HOW I GOT CONVINCED TO BUY A PERFUME!*
So yesterday in church, I had a quick chat with a lovely sister who sells perfumes.
After service, she came to meet me with a collection of perfumes, honestly, there were so many options, I didn’t even know which one to choose. I wasn’t feeling very eager to buy, to be honest.
I didn’t know which scent to pick.
But then something interesting happened.
She picked one of the perfumes and casually said, “So-and-so person just bought this one. She paid for it this morning.”
The person she mentioned is someone I respect.
Immediately I heard her name attached to that perfume, I said, “Give me that one.”
That, my dear friend, is the power of UGC (User-Generated Content) and testimonials in marketing.
Sometimes, it’s not about how sweet your product sounds or how amazing your training looks.
It’s about who else is buying.
When you’re promoting your product or service, don’t just talk about the features.
Tell your audience who is already buying.
Are people signing up from different countries?
Mention it.
Did someone reputable just join your program or buy your product?
Post about it with permission.
Did someone give you great feedback or results?
Share it.
Personally, anytime someone from the US, UK, Canada, or South Africa joins my Bootcamp or signs up for coaching, I make a post about it.
Not to brag, but to send a silent message:
“People like you are already in. Don’t be left out.”
That’s how I attract more international clients.
That’s how I create momentum.
That’s how I attract premium clients.
Marketing isn’t just what you say about your offer.
People want to know,
“Who else is buying this?”
“Is this thing moving?”
“Am I the only one?”
Use that to your advantage.
Next time someone buys from you, signs up for your class, or gives feedback, post it.
That’s why you see me say “Another amazing woman just joined the Empowered Lady Bootcamp from Ghana!”
Let your audience see that the table is not empty.
Because when people see others trusting you, they are more likely to trust you too.
