Before you teach it, live it. A reminder to all the "online teachers" out there: Stop telling people, 👉 “Just do this and you’ll achieve that,” 👉 “I know someone who did this and made millions,” 👉 “You can easily replicate this strategy.” Honestly, some of it sounds great, but here’s a question I keep coming back to: Have you actually done the exact thing you're preaching? Have you tested it long enough to face the downs, not just the ups? Have you shown consistent results yourself before recommending it to others? If not, you're not mentoring, you're guessing out loud with confidence. Because when someone gives advice they haven’t personally walked through, it can unintentionally mislead. It creates this idea that success is a formula, when in reality, it’s often a mix of timing, effort, trial, and a lot of learning along the way. Also, we tend to only hear from the people who “made it.” But for every one success story, there are so many more who tried the exact same thing and didn’t get the same result. This isn’t about calling anyone out. It’s just a reminder I’m trying to follow myself: 1. Do it. 2. Get real results. 3. Document it. 4. Then teach it. That’s integrity. So, respectfully, lead by example, or take a seat.
