Alhamdulillah the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah are eminent These are the best days of the year, better than the days of Ramadan (not nights) Evidence for this - Ibn Abbas reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “No good deeds are better than what is done in these first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.” Some companions of the Prophet said, “Not even jihad in the way of Allah?” The Prophet said, “Not even jihad in the way of Allah, except for a man who goes out with his life and wealth at risk and he returns with nothing.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 969 Allah also swears by these days in Surah Fajr Al-Fajr 89:2 وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ ۙ English - Dr. Mustafa Khattab, The Clear Quran and the ten nights,[[ This refers to the first ten days of the month of Ⱬul-Ḥijjah, in which the rituals of pilgrimage are performed. ]] The 9th or the day of Arafat is particularly important as Allah frees many people from the hellfire. So what should we do? 1- single Allah in worship, all righteous deeds are better in these days 2- sincere tawba 3- give back the rights of someone you have wronged 4- Salah 5- Hajj and Umrah 6- Fasting, if you can only fast one day let it be Arafat 7- Dhikr, best form of Dhikr is the recitation of the Qur'an 8- Slaughtering 9- Sadaqah Anything I have said that is wrong is from me and shaytaan and Allah and his messenger are both free from it بارك الله فيكم
