President Cyril Ramaphosa has announced a broad consensus on the need to convene a National Dialogue to tackle the pressing challenges facing South Africa. To drive this initiative, he has appointed a 32-member Eminent Persons Group to lead and support the process. The group includes prominent figures such as former IEC chairperson Brigalia Bam, former Constitutional Court judge Edwin Cameron, Springbok captain Siya Kolisi, and former minister Roelf Meyer.
