Hurricane season is here, and homeowners along coastal communities are bracing for what could be a turbulent season. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is predicting "above-normal" hurricane activity in the Atlantic this season, which runs from June 1 to Nov. 30. The agency is forecasting a range of 13 to 19 named storms with winds of 39 mph or higher.
