#another reality --- Oh wow, another agent sending students to South Africa for CPL training because it's *"cheap and affordable"?* Groundbreaking. Because what could possibly go wrong with chasing your *aviation dreams in the middle of a savannah, right?* Let’s do some quick math *(don’t worry, no DGCA syllabus involved):* A *(maybe)* decent flight school anywhere will cost around ₹45 lakhs. But if you're being offered one for less than that with “everything included,” congrats — *you’ve just unlocked the Scam Likely difficulty level.* You'll be trained at an airfield that looks like it was abandoned in 1996 — but hey, it's international, so it must be legit, right? *Your agent? Oh, they’ll be your best friend until the payment clears.* After that, they'll vanish faster than your solo flight slot when the weather’s bad. And the owner of the school? *Sometimes they just… disappear* No, literally. Ask around — students have been ghosted harder than bad Tinder dates. But wait, there’s more! *Add ₹4–6 lakhs for food, lodging, and essentials over 15–20 months.* *That’s if you don’t mind sharing a room with lizards and eating “budget-friendly mystery curry.”* Another *₹4–5 lakhs goes into converting your license* once you're back in India, because — surprise! — you didn’t actually finish the race when you crossed the line. So no, it’s not cheap. It’s just an expensive illusion with palm trees and commission checks on the side. Because nothing says “world-class aviation” like cutting corners in a place you found on Google Maps five minutes before flying out. *Fly safe. Or at least, fly smart.* *Disclaimer:* This post is intended for educational and awareness purposes only. It is not directed at any specific person, agent, company, or flight school, nor does it accuse any entity of wrongdoing. *The goal is to encourage aspiring pilots to do proper research, ask questions, and make informed decisions before committing time and money to flight training.*
