An anthropologist proposed a game for some children from an African tribe. He placed a basket of fruits near a tree and told them that whoever reached it first would get the fruits.
When he gave the signal, all the children held hands and ran together. Upon arriving, they sat down and shared the fruits among themselves!
The anthropologist asked the children why they chose to run together when only one could have won the prize. They replied:
— Ubuntu: How can one be happy while all the others are sad?
In African culture, Ubuntu means: "I am because we are." 🙏🏾❤️
