*SHALOM* *DAY 2 -EUCHARISTIA - CORPUS CHRISTI NOVENA* *SATURDAY - 14/06/2025* *PRAYER INTENTIONS.....* For the unity of all Christians under one faith, one Lord, and one table of the Eucharist. For healing of divisions within the Body of Christ the Church. For an increase in Eucharistic love that overcomes pride, conflict, and disunity. For stronger bonds of fraternity within our families, communities, and parishes. For ecumenical dialogue and understanding among separated brethren. *MEDITATION* *“For we, being many, are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.” (1 Corinthians 10:17)* *🎈 Eucharist - The Unifying Grace* In the Eucharist, we encounter not only Jesus Christ but also each other. Every time we receive Holy Communion, we are drawn into deeper union with Christ and through Him, into communion with all members of His Body. The Eucharist is not a private devotion. It is a communal mystery. St. Paul reminds us that although we are many, we become one because we share in the one Bread Christ Himself. The Eucharist is both the sign and the source of unity in the Church. Yet, how often do we see division among Christians, within parishes, in families, and even within ourselves? The Eucharist challenges us to live out what we receive: unity, reconciliation, self-giving love. To approach the altar while holding onto division is to contradict the very mystery we celebrate. Therefore, let us allow the grace of the Eucharist to dissolve our pride, reconcile our differences, and bring healing to the wounds that tear the Body apart. *In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.* *Act of Contrition* My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against you whom I should love above all things. I firmly intend, with your help, to do penance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads me to sin. Our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died for us. In his name, my God, have mercy.Amen *Come Holy Spirit* Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth. O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen. *The Lord's Prayer* Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. *Hail Mary* Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. *OPENING PRAYER* Heavenly Father, deepen our understanding of the Eucharist as the fulfillment of your Word. May we always approach the Eucharist with awe and reverence, knowing that in it, we encounter your living presence. Amen. *DAY 2- CORPUS CHRISTI NOVENA* O Jesus, Bread of Life, we come before You with hearts full of Thanksgiving, drawn to Your altar where love is poured out and lives are renewed. You gave Yourself to us in the Most Holy Eucharist, not as a symbol, but as Your very Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. We adore You, O Sacramental Lord, hidden yet fully present, silent yet speaking to the depths of our hearts. Lord, in this novena journey, awaken in us a profound reverence for Your Eucharistic Presence. Teach us to live in holy communion with You, not only in the Sacrament but in every moment of our lives. May our worship rise from grateful hearts, and may our thanksgiving become a way of life. Cleanse us, Lord, of all that keeps us from You. Unite us as one Body healed, forgiven, and made whole by Your love. Help us to recognize You in the breaking of bread, in the faces of the poor, the lonely, and the wounded. May Your Eucharist transform us into instruments of peace, justice, and mercy in a world so in need of Your presence. *_🌿 [Pause here and silently present your personal intentions...]_* Lord Jesus, You gave Yourself entirely for us may we give ourselves entirely to You. Inflame our hearts with Eucharistic love. Help us to never take Your Sacrifice for granted, but to live each day as grateful disciples, witnesses of Your Real Presence in our words, deeds, and relationships. Mother Mary, teach us to ponder, to receive, and to adore as you did so perfectly at the foot of the Cross and at the altar of life. May your intercession strengthen us in this novena and draw us ever deeper into the mystery of Christ’s love. Jesus, in the Most Holy Eucharist, we trust in You. Jesus, in the Most Holy Eucharist, we believe in You. Jesus, in the Most Holy Eucharist, we love You. Amen. *🙏 Make Us One, Lord - A Prayer for Christian Unity* Lord Jesus Christ, You prayed that we may all be one, as You are one with the Father and the Holy Spirit. You offered Yourself on the altar of the Cross to gather into one the scattered children of God. And You gave us the Eucharist as the Sacrament of unity. Today, we lift our hearts to You, pleading for the unity You longed for, not mere tolerance, but true communion a unity born of truth, love, humility, and grace. Break down the walls that divide us, O Lord. Heal the wounds of pride, prejudice, and mistrust. Where bitterness exists, sow peace. Where confusion reigns, bring clarity. Where estrangement dwells, restore friendship. Let Your Eucharistic Presence dissolve our divisions, that we may truly be one Body in You. Help us to see in every neighbor a brother, a sister, united by the One Bread and One Cup we share. O Jesus, Bread of unity, make our hearts Your dwelling place. Make our churches beacons of reconciliation. Make our lives testimonies of communion. We ask this through You, the One Bread of Life, who live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, One God forever and ever. Amen. *✨ LITANY OF THE EUCHARISTIA NOVENA ✨* Lord, have mercy, Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy, Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy, Lord, have mercy.
