Daniel understood that when God speaks, it is settled. Before going to the king with his interpretation, before receiving a confirmation, before even being applauded, Daniel worshipped. Revelation itself was the reward, because only those who walk closely with God know how valuable it is to hear from Him. He acknowledged that God doesn’t only give information, He carries power to change times and seasons. Think about it: Daniel had just delayed a furious king who wanted answers immediately. It was not Daniel’s charisma, but it was God’s might that softened the king’s heart and bought him time. In a world that often operates on deadlines, it’s critical to remember that God still interrupts time. He shifts atmospheres and bends the urgency of men when His purposes are in motion. When God gives you insight, learn to stop and bless God in the moment of revelation. Even before others believe it, or evidence catches up, God has already decided.
