Doris Donya Toto, we converged at Nyanturago (Nyamasibi Ward) in Nyaribari Masaba Constituency for an empowerment of women and youth groups by giving them a capital boost to start and sustain their business so that they can be guaranteed of financial Independence. In my capacity, I have been very passionate about supporting women and youth in business by pushing to have in place legislation that will cushion them from strains that occur while doing business.By sponsoring the Street Vendors ( Protection of Livelihood) Bill, the cardinal objective is to ensure that the environment within which women and small business owners operate is conducive. It should never be forgotten that the small business owners contribute significantly to the growth of our economy and therefore being here to support them demonstrates our willingness to ensuring economic success.
