‎ The Zimbabwe Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) has euthanised the pitbull responsible for a fatal attack that claimed the life of a 39-year-old man in Bluffhill on Sunday. The dog belonged to Mike Mupinga, whose property has since been visited by the SPCA. In addition to putting down the aggressive pitbull, the SPCA also confiscated four other dogs from the residence — two additional pitbulls, one rottweiler, and an Angarian mastiff — as part of its response to the tragic incident. Authorities are continuing investigations, and there is growing public concern about the regulation and ownership of aggressive dog breeds in residential areas.
