Dear Comrades, Many comrades have been enquiring about the relaxation in eligibility for GDS to MTS and Postman cadre examination for 2025. The CHQ has already taken up this issue with the Directorate and submitted several representations. As per the latest information, the Department has assured that they are inclined to maintain status quo~ that is, the one-year relaxation granted last year is likely to be continued this year as well. Another important matter concerns the pending GDS to MTS promotion results in Telangana Circle. The delay has been due to court proceedings and related issues. The CHQ has pursued this case vigorously. The Department has now conveyed that the result will be issued shortly. However, before that, the request transfers under Rule-38 for MTS officials are being processed. Once that is done, the pending GDS to MTS promotions will be cleared.
