𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗨𝗠 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗕𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗗 *The City of Cape Town has invited the public to comment on 7 July for the proposed redevelopment plan for the Athlone Stadium precinct and parking area.* *The City has promised that funding gained from land auctioned off will be used for stadium upgrades.* *This has been met with a lot of negative response already from the footballing fraternity as Athlone is seen as the last "dedicated football" site in Cape Town and which will now be affected by a long term redevelopment plan surrounding it.*
