Position: Commercial Vehicle Salesperson (Trucks & Heavy Vehicles) Location: Mombasa road Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: General Manager Salary: 50-70k plus commissions Job Summary: Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Salesperson specializing in trucks and heavy commercial vehicles to join their sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying customer needs, presenting tailored vehicle solutions, and driving sales. This role requires strong product knowledge, industry insight, and a results-driven mindset. Responsibilities: Sell heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles to individual and business customers. Develop and maintain relationships with fleet managers, owner-operators, and commercial clients. Conduct detailed vehicle presentations and walk-arounds, including technical specifications and performance benefits. Provide expert guidance on vehicle capabilities, configurations, financing, leasing, and after-sales services. Negotiate pricing, trade-ins, and contract terms in accordance with company policies. Maintain an active pipeline of leads and follow up on all inquiries and previous interactions. Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to promote company offerings. Collaborate with the service, finance, and parts departments to ensure end-to-end customer satisfaction. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Sales and marketing or related field 4+ years of experience in commercial truck or heavy equipment sales (Class 4-8 trucks preferred). Strong understanding of truck specifications Familiarity with vocational industries such as logistics, construction, waste, agriculture, or transportation. Proven ability to close deals and manage a B2B sales pipeline. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
