Applying for an Advertised Position I got my first internship job through EoI. Although there wasn't any vacancy in the company, I wrote expressing my interest in joining the company. I also applied for many advertised positions in other companies, but I was unsuccessful because I didn't meet all the necessary requirements. Try to differentiate between the two: a. EoI - The employer sees and assesses your interest. That matters more than your qualifications or experiences. b. Advertised position - you meet all the necessary requirements for the employer. If you are rejected or unsuccessful in applying for advertised positions, consider submitting an Expression of Interest (EoI). You'll finally get your desired job.
