Steamed Fish with Rice and Broccoli
Ingredients:
White fish fillets (e.g., tilapia, cod)
Salt and pepper
Garlic (optional)
Olive oil or butter
Steamed broccoli
Cooked jasmine or long grain rice
Fresh herbs (e.g., parsley or chives)
Instructions:
1. Steam the Fish:
Season fish fillets with salt, pepper, and optional garlic.
Steam for 8–10 minutes until flaky and cooked through.
Drizzle with olive oil or place a small dollop of butter on top.
2. Cook the Rice:
Rinse 1 cup rice and cook with 2 cups water. Bring to a boil, then simmer covered for 15 minutes or until water is absorbed.
Fluff and garnish with chopped herbs.
3. Steam the Broccoli:
Steam broccoli florets for 3–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
Optional: Top with butter or a sprinkle of feta/cheese.
4. Serve: Plate fish, rice, and broccoli together.
