*A short time ago, a light aircraft crashed off Tayo Beach in Bat Yam. Officers sealed off the area to allow rescue teams to operate without disruption.*
The Tel Aviv Police Marine Unit rescued the pilot and another individual in critical condition.
The public is asked to avoid the area to ensure emergency crews can work without interruption.
