The National Assembly is inviting Kenyans to give their views on the Health (Amendment) Bill (National Assembly Bill No. 56 of 2024). The Bill seeks to amend the principal Act to make it an offence for public healthcare facilities and healthcare providers in charge of health facilities to detain the body of a deceased person as a means of enforcing settlement of outstanding medical bills.
