*Cotton Imports - Highest in 5 Years* Amid a decline in local cotton production this year, Pakistan has imported 0.67mn bales cotton in Apr’25, the highest monthly import since Feb’20 (0.70mn bales), taking the total imports in 10MFY25 to 3.33mn bales as compared to 0.83mn bales in the same period last year. As per Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association, cotton arrivals in factories of Pakistan have been reported at 5.52mn bales as compared to 8.39mn bales (-34% YoY) last year.
