New Learners Explore Zonderwater Correctional Centres On Monday, 26 May 2025, newly appointed learners in the Department of Correctional Services (DCS) visited Zonderwater correctional facilities as part of their work environment exposure. These learners from Limpopo/Mpumalanga/North West (LMN) and Free State/Northern Cape (FS/NC) regions are pursuing a Corrections Learnership programme with DCS. They arrived at Zonderwater Training College in mid-May 2025, and got to explore Zonderwater Correctional Centre's facilities, on 26 May, including reception, cells, visitation areas and dining facilities. This first batch of 493 learners will undergo four months of theoretical and physical training, concluding around September 2025.
