*Primary Counsellor* *Job Overview* The Ministry of Health and Child Care is seeking a qualified and experienced Primary Counsellor to join the Nyanga District Hospital team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing HIV testing and counselling services to patients and clients. *Key Responsibilities* - Provide rapid HIV testing services and HIV self-testing - Provide counselling for HIV testing services to patients/clients in various clinical and community settings - Develop individualized/couples risk reduction plans - Provide accurate information about HIV and AIDS - Document all HTS/HIVST services offered to clients using national data collection tools - Compile and consolidate HTS/HIVST data from different testing and counselling points - Provide educational presentations on HIV testing and counselling - Refer clients/patients for continuum of service *Requirements* - Certificate in Primary Counselling - Ordinary Level certificate with 5 "O" Levels, including English Language - Ability to communicate well with persons of different personalities - Mature individual aged 25 years and above *How to Apply* Interested candidates should forward their applications to: The District Medical Officer Nyanga District Hospital P.
