Boarding Master Position: Boarding Master Job Responsibilities: - Responsible for the well-being of students, providing support, guidance, and advice - Act in loco parentis, taking on a parental role during the school year - Help learners from different backgrounds and cultures settle into the school - Identify and respond to bullying - Adhere to the school's Child Safeguarding policy - Report actual or potential risks to the safety or welfare of learners - Supervise learners at meals, bedtime, and waking up - Maintain order and ensure student safety - Provide academic support and oversee academic tasks - Oversee the running of the boarding house, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment Skills and Abilities: - Excellent communication skills - Ability to deal with emergencies calmly - Conflict resolution skills - Professional and personal integrity Educational Qualifications: - A minimum of five (5) Ordinary level subjects, including English Language - First aid/red cross certificate is an added advantage How to Apply: Interested and qualified candidates should email their application letter, detailed CV, relevant certificates, and recommendation letters from previous employer(s) to [email protected] with "Boarding Master" as the subject line.
