Zion Christian Church To: All Church Members Sub: Weekly focus for Friday Date: 13 June 2025 We give all glory and honour to the Almighty God of Zion, the giver of life. Our spiritual guidance for this week focuses on the following: *1. The God of Zion has plans of Peace (Jeremiah 29 vs 11), but he commands us to build houses and live in them, to plant gardens and enjoy their fruit (Jeremiah 29 vs 5)* It is truly evident that Zionians are destined to prosper, for the thoughts and plans of our Lord are thoughts of peace and not of harm (Jeremiah 29 vs.11). The Lord Himself delights in the welfare and prosperity of us, His faithful servants (Psalm 37 vs. 25). All that is needed, therefore, is to discern what to do, and when to do it. We are now in the sacred season of oath-making, a time to bravely confront the adversary's curses upon our lives and to praise the Lord with solemn vows (Psalms 65 vs 1). He says, build houses and live in them, cultivate gardens and enjoy their fruit (Jeremiah 29 vs 5). If you look closely, what is meant by blessing begins with these two pillars: - The Home - so he says build homes, and - The Field - so he says cultivate fields. If you do not have a home, and a field, it is difficult to become blessed. You must have a home first, and a field, because whenever the Lord ordains you with prosperity, you have a place to put it. Let us then align ourselves with His Word: if you lack a home, seek to build one, and if you have no field, strive to acquire one. In doing so, you position yourself within the flow of divine prophecy. *Awareness campaign:* - In this sacred season, if you realize that you have not yet made a vow unto the Lord, take heart and hasten to do so, for this is the appointed time when every Zionian who has taken a vow is encouraged to work fervently to fulfill it.
