*The federal government has allocated over Rs. 9 billion in the upcoming PSDP 2025–26 to establish and develop five public sector universities across Pakistan.* Among the key projects, University of Gwadar will receive the largest share at Rs. 2.49 billion, followed by Women University Bagh (Rs. 1.80 billion), FATA University (Rs. 1.76 billion), University of Chitral (Rs. 1.72 billion), and University of Sahiwal (Rs. 1.37 billion). These initiatives, approved by the DDWP and CDWP in earlier years, reflect the government’s commitment to strengthening education infrastructure nationwide.
