KGS Middle Section students visited the Mohatta Palace Museum to view Imperium Amidst Opium Blossoms by Adeela Suleman—a monumental 17’ x 17’ Kashidakari tapestry, the largest in Pakistan since 1947. On display for just three days, the work uses Mughal-era embroidery to explore the East India Company’s legacy, colonialism, and resistance, featuring figures like Robert Clive and Tipu Sultan. The visit offered students a rich, thought-provoking encounter with history and contemporary textile art. #karachigrammarschool
