*SUCCESS REPORT - 22 May 2025* *OPERATIONAL TEAM:* GTP High Priority Crimes Unit, Trio Tactical, Tembisa LCRC *OPERATION DETAILS:* Officers from GTP High Priority Crimes and Trio Tactical conducted a successful operation based on information received regarding a syndicate involved in CIT, ATM bombings, hijackings, and courier robberies. The information led the team to a suspected safe house in Tembisa. *OPERATIONAL OUTCOME:* Upon observing the house, the officers identified two suspects entering the premises with a black bag. The officers tactically contained the suspects and searched the bag, discovering: - 2 unlicensed firearms (a rifle and 9mm pistol with magazine and 8 live rounds) - 4 rifle magazines - A large quantity of rifle ammunition The suspects were arrested and detained at Tembisa SAPS. *SUSPECT DETAILS:* 1.
