Community groups and organisations in West Lothian are invited to apply for funding to meet key priorities.
West Lothian’s Rural Community Led Local Development Fund is open for applications for the 2025 -2026 programme.
The aim of the RCLLD Fund is to deliver community-based activity to meet one or more priorities of: eradicating child poverty; growing the economy; tackling the climate emergency; and improving public services.
Among the groups to successfully apply previously were Polbeth and West Calder Community Woods and Garden (PWCCWG), pictured, who were awarded around £12,000 in 2024-2025, to make improvements to their site and enable them to welcome more volunteers and visitors.
A volunteer with the group said: “Watching the site develop and change gives me a sense of ownership and pride. It’s amazing what our team can achieve.”
The deadline for applications is Monday 7 July 2025.
The RCLLD is financed by the Scottish Government and supported by West Lothian Council.
