*MINING SHIFT SUPERVISOR* *Main duties and responsibilities* - Supervise to ensure that the shift team is focused and delivers key priorities to include high standards of health and safety and good communication. - Maintain excellent operations and standards. - Oversee shift process and provide appropriate instruction to designated team. - Supervise the upkeep and maintenance and use of equipment by the shift - Responsible for meeting production targets and the whole team. - Contribute to training and development of the team. - Responsible for the daily schedule of work/rotations/shifts. - Maintain accurate data or records and write reports to the managers. - Reporting unsafe acts, incidents and accidents as soon as they occur. *Person Specification* The successful candidate will have: - A minimum of a National Diploma in Mining - At 5 Ordinary Level passes including Mathematics and English Language - A holder of a Mine Blasting License - At least three (3) years’ experience as a Shift Supervisor in an open pit with demonstrated leadership competencies - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Computer literacy. - A clean Class 4 Drivers’ License is a must have *How to Apply* Interested and qualified people should submit applications with certified copies of birth certificate, I.D, academic & professional certificates and Curriculum Vitae at the address below: 11 Sinamatela Road Hwange or: Email: [email protected] *Closing Date:* 20/06/2025 *Note:* Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the selection processes. *‘Power behind Coal and Gas’*
