So, Egypt is detaining and deporting activists before they could even join in the Global March to Gaza. Here's what we know:
👉At least 200 activists were detained in Cairo, including people from Algeria, Morocco, Spain, Australia, Greece, Sweden and the U.S.
👉 70+ activists were deported, including Turkish nationals with valid visas planning to join the North African convoy
👉 Egyptian authorities have reportedly raided hotels, questioning activists, searching their belongings and confiscating their phones
👉 Israel’s defense minister threatened that Israeli forces would step in if Egypt doesn't block the march
