👏 He lost his father when he was just 13 years old, a moment that shattered his world. James Ouma's struggles as a child pushed him to provide a safe haven and safe space for the boy child and fill a gap left open by society.
James, the founder of Lifesong Kenya, is the winner of the #tukohumanitarianawards, Grassroots Impact Category.
James houses three boys at Halfway House, situated in the Ngong area of Kajiado County, and funds their basic needs, school fees, and staff payment. The safe house can host up to 20 boys at a time.
Congratulations, James Ouma! Keep changing the story of the boy child.
