EcoCash Holdings Zimbabwe Limited is undergoing a major transformation, rebranding to TN Cybertech Investments Holdings Limited after Tawanda Nyambirai acquired a 53.261% controlling stake through Steward Bank. Nyambirai, who founded Steward Bank (formerly TN Bank) in 2001, is returning after selling it to Econet Wireless in 2013. The name change aims to align the company with its new leadership and eliminate confusion with EcoCash (Pvt) Ltd, which remains under Econet Wireless. A virtual Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on 13 June 2025 will allow shareholders to vote on the rebranding.
