ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਵੀਂ 'ਲੈਂਡ ਪੁਲਿੰਗ ਨੀਤੀ' ਲਾਗੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਪੂਰਨ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਜਨਾਬੱਧ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਨੀਤੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਮਾਲਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸੇਦਾਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਮਰਥਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
