Body to lay in state at his Chifwema residence through-out until burial except for 3 days when it will lay at Mulungushi International Conference Centre for the public to pay their respects. Service to be held for foreign dignitaries at MICC on Sunday 22 June 2025. Valedictory service to be held at Supreme Court grounds on Monday 23 June 2025. Archbishop Alick Banda to conduct funeral service for the late former president to be held in showgrounds Lusaka. Burial to be held on Monday 23 June 2025 at Embassy Park Lusaka. Given Lubinda to speak on behalf of the Patriotic Front (PF). President Hakainde Hichilema to preside over the funeral/burial proceedings.
